CAP Checklist Date: September 12, 2007 CAP#: 1038 _ |x| Has the interaction with the load been checked? This CAP, if executed, will occur with HRC in the FP. The CAP should not affect the commanding in the load. _ |x| Has comm been identified and duration estimated accurately? - Is a partial command buffer uplink possible for this CAP (uplink via 26m antenna), and if so what is the worst case scenario? We will be using the comm at 2007:260:11:15 for this CAP. There is a chance there will be a change to the comm schedule due to the SELENE launch. We will work on that issue if it arises. The partial command buffer uplink should not be an issue for this CAP. _ |x| If SCS slots are used, is there SCS slot contention? No SCS slots are used. _ |x| Does the CAP perform SCS slot cleanup? N/A. _ |x| Does the CAP set the correct format at completion? There are no format changes during this CAP. _ |x| What happens if comm is lost during the CAP execution? If the comm is lost before the both commands in the SOP are sent, the camera body will continue to cool until the load turns the heater back on or the DH survival heaters turn on. _ |x| Does CAP require radmon to be enabled or disabled to be compatible with current load? No. _ |x| What is the worst case scenario for the CAP execution? - what science can be lost? - does action generate significant momentum? - can safe mode be triggered during the CAP? No science can be lost during this CAP. HRC is the focal plane instrument and this CAP does not affect HRC. If the CAP fails to execute the commands, and the camera body cools below -71.1C (-73.6C), the primary (redundant) DH survival heaters will turn on. The SEP1707 load has a command to turn on the DH heaters 7.2ks before the first ACIS science observation. There should be no affect on science. This CAP will not generate momentum nor can it trigger safe mode. _ |x| List (or attach list) of products that are required (loads, scripts, SOPs). Include version number for scripts and SOPs. 1. SOP_61014_DAHTR_B_ON (v 3.1) _ |x| Are all products certified and do SOP and scripts have version 3.1 or higher? Yes _ |x| Has OC verified that all required products are available on console? _ |x| Does the CAP require an OBSID change? No. _ |x| If a Flight Software Patch, has the checkbook checksum been compared with the value in the CAP? N/A _ |x| Who will be on-console and is the CAP being run at a reasonable time? ACIS Science Operations Team will be on-console. This CAP is being run at a currently scheduled comm and at a time that minimizes the impact on science. _ |x| Has CAP been reviewed by FD, FOM, SOT lead and OC or their designee? Comments: To be attached to the signed CAP. Rev 1.7, 2 Dec 2005, DPS
