SIGNIFICANT SOLAR ACTIVITY: At midnight UTC the visible solar disk had 10 spotted regions. Region 11190 has a beta-gamma magnetic field; it developed moderately quickly and has become a fairly compact region with polarity intermixing. C flares are likely and there's an increasing chance of an M class flare. Region 11191 added a few trailing spots. New region 11193 at the northeast limb isa complex and compact, capable of producing M flares. GOES X-ray flux: Steady rise in activity to low C class, no major events.
