Start at 192:13:00 GMT = 08:00am 11 Jul EST End 10:00am 11 Jul SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 192.) PLAN ---- Go through perigee passage at current attitude, then resume science program after exiting perigee if the JUL1111C loads are approved. Resume science observing with obsid 12740, an ACIS-S observation of 3C 402, as part of a legacy snapshot program to observe all 3CR sources with z<0.3. Then do obsid 12343, an ACIS-S observation of the planet-bearing star HD 189733 to measure the planet radius via X-ray occultation. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: 12 supports over the weekend, with numerous long passes to enable safe mode recovery and recovery to normal pointing mode (NPM). Ran 13 CAP's to effect the recovery. We are now fully recovered and in NPM. Descending into perigee passage, with the intent to resume the science program upon exit, at 193:01:04. JUL1111C products are out for review at 11am this morning. These are identical to the B products, but were re-issued due to an error in the continuity with our present state. Many systems got hot while we were at normal sun, EPHIN temperature up to 141.5 deg F. They are cooling now while we are at 150.1 deg pitch. A solar prominence at about 0100 apparently cause ACE soft protons to reach a very high flux of about 10,000 particles/cm2-s-ster-MeV, but those rates have been decreasing for the past ~4 hours to 3500. Automatic processing of science data is expected to resume on Wednesday. Quick look data: None.
