GOT: - There was a commanding issue on the day 196 DSN-46 pass. The initial problem was a command timeout when issuing an EPS subformat command. In the course of responding to this problem it appears that a set of 22 commands were unexpectedly sent to the spacecraft. These were most likely the RF-on script which had previously been sent. The most credible explanation now is that the script commands were buffered at the station and were unexpectedly resent while resolving the loss of command situation. Command equipment at the OCC and at DSN were recycled and normal command ability was restored. No further problems have been noted in subsequent passes. Investigation into the cause of this problem is in progress.
