Notes from 9am meeting ---------------------- Ops: - Supports Completed: 5 - Remarks: Pass at 204/1725-1940 - No Command or Telemetry for this support due to an inhouse NAS issue. - SCS's Loaded: 1 - Good through: 2007:208:13:16:29.000 - SSR Dumps: 5 - Current Configuration (as of 205/1300): In Radiation Zone: NO Current SI HRC-I Grating NONE Observation ID 08532 Target GC-2 Altitude 112.8 kkm Asc Radmon Disable 206/22:52z Next Radiation Zone 207/01:40z to 207/13:01z - Next Scheduled Supports (3): Time BOT EOT Site Station Antenna 205/1900-2115 2000 2100 MADRID DSS-54 34 Meter 206/0245-0500 0345 0445 GOLDST DSS-24 34 Meter 206/1000-1250 1100 1235 MADRID DSS-66 26 Meter MP: - JUL3007A loads have been approved and signed off by the FD. Radiation: - The radiation environment is very quiet. - Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low. - Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet 24 - 25 July. On 26 July the geomagnetic field is expected to be unsettled to active as a recurrent coronal hole rotates into a geoeffective position. IST: - After successful pre-pass activities for the 204/1725-1940 pass, the first attempt at commanding was unsuccessful. It was determined that the network attached storage (both NAS1 and NAS2) had failed, leaving the OCC with no command capability. After about 4 hours of troubleshooting NAS2 was restored to a configuration that supported commanding. With minutes left in the available comm the OC and CC were able to do a SOH check and reset pointers to avoid a rollover to SSR-B. - Activities will continue today to understand the failure and restore full functionality and redundancy.
