The DH has cooled through perigee and continues to cool through 4 consecutive, 8 ks E0102 observations and three HRC observations after the E0102 observations. This provides a total of ~110 ks of cooling for the camera body while the test 2 days ago provided ~48ks. This is the last COM before the heater is turned back on in the load at 2008:039:14:50. At the end of previous COM at 2008:039:03:45, the camera body read -72.2 on both side A and B. This is the coldest temperature yet observed on the camera body. This is one bit flip away from the executing CAP1053 to turn the DH heater back on. Both side A and B read -72.2 C at the beginning of the pass. During the pass, side A did read -69.8 C for at least one sample. This *might* be evidence that the survival heater has or had turned on. Darell says that the processing of the dump data showed that side A was fluctuating between -69.8 C and -72.2 C in the dump data. We will have to plot these data along with the Fid Light brightnesses to determine if the survival heater came on or if the temperature is fluctuating between two bits as the Camera Body cools. Unfortunately, the ACIS Fid Lights were only on during the E0102 observations, they won't be of any help for the observations for which the SIM was at HRC.
