We are working on the OCT1308 load. S/C: On last Friday, Oct 5th we noted that an unexpected watchdog ACIS reboot had occurred that left Chandra with v. 11 ACIS flight software. The TOO that had been running needed cc mode, which is not available in v. 11. At 6:06 am EDT (2008:279:10:06 GMT) we ran CAP 1081, BEP warm boot, that reverts back to the new ACIS flight software v. 44. Then on 2008:280:01:58 GMT we ran CAP 1083, to replace the TOO Load OCT0408A with OCT0608A so that we could try the TOO again with a ~24 hour delay. We then decided that to be conservative we should not use v. 44, but revert back to the previous v. 31 and do more ground testing of v. 44. We accomplished that at 2008:280:03:17:58 with CAP 1082. Significant solar activity: The solar flare activity level is very low. GOES X-ray flux: very low - GOT/IST: The second T1 line is back in operation. The computer room air conditioning failed over the weekend. New parts are expected this morning. Meanwhile the building AC, shut off over the weekend, is now running and should keep the computers cool. In preparation for promoting ONLS 3.10.10.1 to ops we synched the prime database to the 3rd string over the weekend. Any users who have files to keep should make sure to copy them to the 3rd string.
