ATOMDB Issues

Release notes generated for ATOMDB Version 1.3.1 are included in the tar file with the ATOMDB download. This is an interim release with no changes to the underlying atomic database. The only change is that the models now extend to 50 keV. Please see the the release notes for more details.Specific improvements and caveats for Version 1.3.0 are also discussed here.

Comparisons of different plasma spectral emission codes may be useful in deciding which code is the best one to use to solve a particular problem. Comparisons between ATOMDB Version 1.2.0 and SPEX/MEKAL as well as with Version 1.1.0. are available.
