Sources For and About the ATOMDB

The ATOMDB is a database which includes both the atomic data in APED and the plasma spectral models from APEC. More information on the database, code, and modeling assumptions may be found in papers published by the APEC collaboration.

With high resolution X-ray spectra from a diversity of astrophysical objects, the atomic data needs for spectral modeling are only beginning to be understood. To this end we are participating in a new forum, called ASTROATOM to facilitate communication between astrophysicists and atomic physicists.
