ACIS QE

ECS data accumulated over several years of ACIS operations show the small-scale variations of the ACIS quantum efficiency -- intra-node variations in the FI CCDs and strong column-to-column fluctuations in the BI chips. We report on creation of new high-resolution quantum efficiency non-uniformity maps (QEU) for ACIS-I and 3 CCDs in ACIS-S (S1, S2, and S3). This new calibration reduces the QEU uncertainties to 1%--2% from the former 5%.
