Results of the Student Surveys

The data reported on this page are the result of surveys that are sent annually to the Principal Investigators (PIs) of approved Chandra programs. The surveys aim to discover how many students (undergraduates, graduate and post-doctoral) are working with these PIs on Chandra data. The results are tallied every year and in total for all years, giving us a clear picture of student involvement with the Chandra mission. More information may be found here.

In the following tables, the column headers UG, GR, and PD indicate the number of unique undergraduate, graduate, and post-doc students reported by respondents for the year listed. The totals are then tallied over all years.
