Christopher - I'm guessing you're using the CIAO patch 1.5 patch - (right ?)

If so, then check out response to CXC Help Desk Case #3806:

I personally have not verified this solution, but did get tgdetect to run
successfully by uninstalling CIAO patch 1.5 (which includes an update to
dmlist). The CXC later verified that this extreme procedure was OK.
