Hi all,

Maybe you already know it. Please look at the following (
50-70_bin4-l-sub.fits is the back-subtracted image, while
50-70_bin4-l.img is the image before back-subtracted.) :

[msun@msun files]# dmstat "50-70_bin4-l.img[@test.reg]"
EVENTS_IMAGE(sky, sky)
        min: 0.000000
        max: 3.000000
        cntrd: ( 528.770083 ,515.174515 )
        std: ( 74.662910 ,74.318653 )
        sum: 2166.000000
[msun@msun files]# dmstat "50-70_bin4-l-sub.fits[@test.reg]"
EVENTS_IMAGE(sky, sky)
        min: -0.149490
        max: 3.000000
        cntrd: ( 527.641559 ,511.225961 )
        std: ( 76.058586 ,76.102811 )
        sum: 2760.521736

I think it could be a bug of dmstat. It will recognize the negetaive
values as positive ones.

Ming
