Saku,
Remember that acis_fef_lookup is not a part of ciao package (you have
to download the acis_fef_lookup bin and other files seperate from
ciao package and install it adding to ciao - see README after you
download the package). For caldb, if it is not set up the location of
rmf or fef files with caldb, you can just type your own directories when
it is asked.
For example,
>mkrmf
>infile=/data/FP-120/acis7b_x01_y15_FP-120_D2000-01-29fef_piN0001.fits
do cd /data/FP-120/
do you have acis7b_x01_y15_FP-120_D2000-01-29fef_piN0001.fits file in
the directory of /data/FP-120/?
If not, just give your full directory name with the file.

Hi Saku,
what is your CALDB environment?
echo $CALDB should tell you that you are pointing to /soft/ciao. this is still
the old format FEF files. the new files have not been released yet.
plist acis_fef_lookup should tell you what is the root for your CALDB, this is
a hidden parameter.
