Hi Dave,
I never thought of trying zero as an extension but IRAF doesn't like this
either:
cl> display acis.fits[0]
ERROR: image has no pixels
Also, I tried other extensions starting from one and they give me
different error messages:
cl> display
image to be displayed (testy.fits): acis.fits[1]
ERROR: Illegal image type (extension) (acis.fits[1])
cl> e
display
image to be displayed (testy.fits): acis.fits[2]
ERROR: FXF: EOF encountered while reading FITS file (acis.fits[2])
cl> e
display
image to be displayed (testy.fits): acis.fits[3]
ERROR: FXF: EOF encountered while reading FITS file (acis.fits[3])
etc....
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Teddy
