Hi Bryan,
As I mentioned to you in the hallway just now,
I think the problem you're having is that you should
be using the qe file, not the qeu file.
The latest version of the calcarf/rmf tar file
(av106, which you are using) does have the par.file
set up pretty close to what most users will need, which may
avoid some of these problems.
