The CXC's Calibration Database (CALDB) v.2.6 is now available for download!

You may obtain the upgrade tar file (to upgrade from CALDB 2.x) or a whole new
CALDB from the following locations:
http://asc.harvard.edu/caldb/download.html#CALDB_updates (upgrade only)
http://asc.harvard.edu/caldb/download.html#TABLE1 (complete CALDB 2.6)
Note: If you have a system administrator, you may wish to contact them before
doing any CALDB installation.
Summary of Changes -- this new release contains upgrades for the following
items:
- New Grating RMFs for HETG/ACIS, LETG/ACIS, and LETG/HRC-S configurations
- Upgrades in the order-sorting tables to accommodate LETG/ACIS-S
- Corrections to the HRC-I/S hyperbolic test coefficients
- HRC-S degap version 2 upgrade
- Upgrade in the ACIS mean QE for LETG/ACIS-S observations.
Many CIAO analysis threads have been improved or altered as a result of these
changes. Visit the CIAO threads page (located at "http://asc.harvard.edu/ciao/d
ocuments_threads.html") for more information. Analysis or processing threads
which need to be rerun, have been updated to include a brief discussion of the
