Hello Ryan,
        Our CIAO threads are not designed to advise on science decisions but rather
on how to use the software.
        I suggest you read up on some general astronomy analysis and also papers on
X-rays from clusters of stars. The book by Charles and Seward on X-ray
astronomy may prove helpful. You might also like to note that there will be an
X-ray Astronomy School in September at Goddard SFC. There is a link to their
site from our web page, or go to their link directly:
