Hello everyone,
I was brought to my attention recently that when mkrmf/mkarf are used to
average responses, sometimes they shift the centroids of emission lines
in the spectrum. I compared my mkrmf/mkarf fits with the fits I get with
the responses created by psextract and the centroids are different. I
don't think it should be doing this, should it? I tried using different
wmaps to average them for example, but that didn't seem to make much
difference. Does anyone know why it would be doing this?
