calcrmf with new FEFs/gains?

Has anyone else tried using calcrmf with the latest FEF and gain files
(CALDB 2.7, with CIAO 2.1.3)? I have used calcrmf in the past with
previous versions of CALDB and CIAO without a problem. Now, I am
getting the error:

ERROR: REGNUM is not sorted in fef file
/net/coma.perseus5/xray4/ciao_2.1/CALDB/data/chandra/acis/cpf/fefs/acisD2000-01-29fef_piN0002.fits

However, the REGNUM column looks sorted to me when I look at the FEF
file with fv, so I'm not sure what this error means.
I tried psextract, and it created an rmf file without complaint. Does
calcrmf need to be updated to be used with the latest versions of CALDB
and CIAO?
