As some people have noticed already, calcrmf does not work with the recently
released FEF. There are two problems:
1) the new FEFs are not sorted by REGNUM (the column that specifies the
unique region ID), while this is required by the code.
2) The number of calibration energy points within some regions exceeds the
hardcoded limit of 20.
"2" will be fixed in the upcoming release (in a matter of a few days), but
"1" will not. Users will have to sort the FEF file by REGNUM using, for
example, ftool fmemsort.
If CALDB maintainers are reading this list, Is there a good reason for not
sorting FEFs by the region number?
Alexey.
