The PHA column in the pipeline products is fine for use with any PHA
response matrix, including the new ones. The low-energy gain has been
adjusted, however, so the conversion between PHA and PI is different
now, and so if you wish to fit spectra using the PI column in the event
lists (with the new PI FEF), you *must* reprocess the events with
acis_process_events taken from ciao 2.3.1 (or later) and the acis gain
file from CALDB 2.7 (or later).
Hope this clears things up a little.
