And another question,
I have created an exposure map for Chandra's ACIS-I detector (chips
0,1,2,3) at a single energy, 4.510keV. The exposure map is not
spherically symmetric but has sort of large waves perpendicular to the
"vertical" chip gap or at least multiple peaks lying along that chip gap.
I have also created an exposure map with all of the same parameters but at
1.4967keV and it is quite spherically symmetric about the aim point of our
observation. Does anyone know why the exposure map looks so very different
at the higher energy?
Thanks,
Daryl
