Hi,
I wish to combine 22 weighted ARF files, having followed
the procedures set out in the thread titled "Weighting
ARFs and RMFs." When I attempt to use dmarfadd for this
task, the program comes back with a bus error.
Might someone be able to illuminate me as to the cause of
this?
In researching the use of dmarfadd, I've read that, at least
at some point in time, this tool could not add together more
than about 8 ARFs. I assume that this limitation has changed with subsequent
Ciao upgrades. There don't appear to be any bugs associated
with dmarfadd, based on its ahelp file, so it's not clear to
me why I am running into these difficulties.
This particular error message is not among the possible error messages
one might expect from dmarfadd, from what I've been able to
determine.
