Is the "norm" parameter in the model supposed to have an effect? The
fortran code (and the sherpa slang code) contains:
c Estimate thickness of contaminate during observation
decay = norm*exp(-tauinf*(1.0 - exp(-Tdays/tefold)))
thRho = log(decay/norm)/(MacE2 - MacE1)
That is, thRho does not depend upon norm.
