Hi all,
I am trying to fit CTI corrected data to a large region (spanning the four
I chips) and am running into problems around 2 keV. I am using an rmf
file which is computed from a count weighted average of the rmfs provided by
the PSU team. The mirror edge (slightly above 2 keV) seems to be
exaggerated when the model is folded through the response, making it
impossible for the model to fit the data. There also seems to be a
systematic model excess slightly below 2 keV. Has anyone else noticed
this effect? It seems to be less noticeable in small regions where the
uncertainty in counts are high.
