Belinda,
I'm rather concerned to find out that one can continue _receiving_ chandra-users
traffic, but at the same time have all one's outgoing messages to chandra-users
SILENTLY discarded! Looking at your logs, I see that not only were my two
recent messages to chandra-users so discarded, but an important one in February
(announcing my contribution of a major software package to the contrib site at
the CXC) was also silently discarded.
I understand the need for security, but I urge the CXC to notify members of the
community when their contributions to chandra-users are discarded by the
filtering system. The community's record of sharing information on
chandra-users is poor enough in its own right, without the addition of such
technical obstacles to communication.
