CALDB 2.26 Released - 2 February 2004

++ The CALDB version 2.26 is now available to download from

http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/download_ciao_reg.html

This CALDB2.26 contains a new default "CONTAM" file
with contamination corrections needed for a correct analysis of ACIS
data. This file is used automatically by the CIAO response tools
mkarf, mkinstmap, mkgarf, and mkwarf.

Users will NO LONGER get uncorrected ACIS ARFs, GARFs or EXPMAPs
by default once the CALDB2.26 upgrade is completed.
All analysis threads have been updated for this change and in particular
the thread "Correcting Responses for ACIS Contamination" at:

http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/threads/aciscontam/

++ Other updates are:
    - a correction in S3 FEF data (for RMF generation)
    - an improvement in the -110C ACIS-S OSIP file
