Hi Jenica,

Are you using Red Hat 7? This is a known problem for acis_fef_lookup (CIAO3
version) on that platform:

--liz

~ Hi-
~
~ When I run acis_fef_lookup I get the following error:
~
~ unix% acis_fef_lookup acisf02203N001_evt2.fits none mode=h verbose=2
~ Running: acis_fef_lookup
~ script revision = 1.11
~ Calling calFindFile() to find the FEF file
~ and the returned file is:
~ /home/nfp/ciao_3.0.2/CALDB/data/chandra/acis/cpf/fefs/acisD2000-01-29fef_phaN
0004.fits[FUNCTION]
~ /home/nfp/ciao_3.0.2/CALDB/data/chandra/acis/cpf/fefs/acisD2000-01-29fef_phaN
0004.fits[FUNCTION]
~ Segmentation fault
~
~ And when I run the psextract script, it falls over at this point. The fef fi
les are installed in the above directory and they do not look corrupted. Has a
nyone else encountered this error?
~
~ Thanks,
~ Jenica
