The Chandra X-Ray Center has introduced version 3.2.3 of the Chandra
Calibration Database (CALDB) as of 10 August 2005 to the public. The
upgrade will be installed in Standard Data Processing as soon as
reasonably possible. See the CalDB Release Notes page under the "SDP Date"
column for the precise date and time when it has been determined.

CALDB 3.2.3 is a patch upgrade to CalDB 3.2.2; It only includes two
new HRC-I files used in hrc_process_events. In particular there is an
improved degap correction applicable to all HRC-I data. There is also a
correction to the early-mission HRC-I GMAP (gain correction) file,
applicable only to observations taken before (UTC) 1999-10-04T12:00:00.
