Dear chandra-users,

As you are preparing to write proposals, please keep in mind that the CXC
*does not* currently support the Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) platform. This
applies to both the CIAO software package (http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao) and
the standalone version of the ObsVis proposal tool
(http://cxc.harvard.edu/obsvis).

The CXC Helpdesk staff are not able to debug problems on this platform at this
time. A patch for Leopard support is planned for later in the year.

Please use one of our supported platforms (http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/download
/platforms.html) so that your proposal planning will go smoothly and the CXC
staff will be able to assist with any questions.
