CIAO 4.1.2 and Mac OS X 10.6

Hello chandra-users,

CIAO 4.1.2 is not officially supported on the Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
platform which was released on 28 August 2009.

Users have reported problems with ChIPS plotting, GUI applications, and the
command-line help system (ahelp). While the CIAO tools appear to run
correctly, they have not yet been tested.

The CIAO website [http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/] will be updated as we learn
more about CIAO's compatibility with OS X 10.6.
