The CIAO team is pleased to announce the 17 February 2010 release of the
CIAO contributed science tarfile. The new tarfile may be download via
ciao-install (http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/download/) or from the CIAO
Contributed Scripts Page (http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/download/scripts/).
The changes in this release are:
o) SherpaCL
Version 0.22 release of the experimental sherpacl application that
allows users to use CIAO 3.4 syntax for Sherpa and ChIPS commands in CIAO 4.
* adds support for the following commands from CIAO 3.4: DATASPACE, L,
LABEL, TITLE.
* The LABEL, TITLE, XLABEL, and YLABEL commands now support new options
for changing the angle, font, style, alignment and position of the text
(these are extensions to the CIAO 3.4 command set).
* The SHOW command now supports the following options: BG, BACKGROUND,
PSF, and AHELP.
o) lightcurve package - ObsId labels are restored in the plots.
