Dear chandra-users,
The CIAO thread "Extract a Spectrum from the ACIS Readout Streak"
[http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/threads/streakextract/] neglected to
correct the EXPOSURE keyword in the header of the background spectrum
file. The thread has been updated to include this step.
Users who followed this thread prior to 15 June 2010 should adjust the
keyword value in the file header so that the background spectrum is
correctly scaled in the analysis.
