Hello chandra-users,
The CIAO team is pleased to announce the 15 November 2010 release of the
CIAO contributed science tarfile. The new tarfile may be download via
ciao-install (http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/download/) or from the CIAO
Contributed Scripts Page (http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/download/scripts/).
The changes in this release are:
o) ciao_contrib.runtool module
http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/ahelp/ciao_runtool.html
Now includes support for the chandra_repro, combine_spectra and
make_psf_asymmetry_region tools, as well as fix an issue that could
occur when setting parameters to floating-point values.
o) sherpa_contrib.profiles module
http://cxc.harvard.edu/sherpa/ahelp/sherpa_profiles.html
The routines (e.g. prof_data, prof_fit and prof_fit_delchi) will work
with models created using the set_full_model command.
