For those of you using CIAO 4.3 and CalDB 4.4.1, we have released a
quick patch to CalDB 4.4.1 to correct header errors in the ACIS CONTAM
N0006 file that have caused ACIS-8 and ACIS-9 CONTAM corrections to be
unavailable to the ARDLIB. This affects analysis of *new* datasets only,
that is, OBS_IDs taken since the first of the year 2011. Users of the
script "fullgarf", for example, would have seen an ARDLIB initialization
error when making GARFs for GRATING/ACIS-S observations taken since
(DATE-OBS=) 2011-01-01T00:00:00.
Users analyzing datasets taken before the first of the year 2011 would
not have seen the ARDLIB problem, and their resulting GARFs and ARFs are
unaffected by this indexing mistake in CalDB 4.4.1.
CalDB 4.4.2 repairs the CONTAM N0006 header errors and the indexing
omission. See the CalDB downloads page at

Please be advised that if you have already installed CIAO 4.3 and CalDB
4.4.1, you may use the ciao-install command available on the web page

NOTE: CY13 PIMMS effective areas and proposal planning files were not
