CIAO to *end* support for Mac OS 10.5.x (Leopard)

Dear CIAO users,

this is a follow up from our recent Chandra bulletin and chandra-users
email.

Given users feedback (only a handful of users still on Mac Leopard)
and considering our current resources - plus the need to support the
newest platforms - we have decided that the next CIAO release
(CIAO 4.4 currently scheduled for December 2011)
*WILL NOT INCLUDE SUPPORT for Mac OS 10.5.x (Leopard)*

The full list of platforms currently planned for CIAO4.4 is therefore:

- Linux 32 bit and 64 bit:
     supporting most platforms including CentOS, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu

- Mac OS 32 bit and 64 bits:
     10.6 (Snow Leopard),
     10.7 (Lion)
