In response to a request for the HETG Calibration team, we are releasing
CalDB 4.4.6.1 as a small patch to CalDB 4.4.6. It includes the latest
HETG Grating Efficiencies (GREFF) file version N0007. The new GREFF
corrects the HEG and MEG cross-calibration over ~ 1-17 Angstroms.

The new patch file is not automated with "ciao_install" and hence needs
to be installed manually. For those of you who have already installed
CalDB 4.4.6 (released on 13 September 2011), there are only 4 steps to
completing the upgrade, given on the CalDB Download Instructions page:

For those who want the new HETG GREFF immediately, but have not upgraded
yet to CalDB 4.4.6 (the previous release) please follow the instructions
on the "ciao_install" page first:

This will update your CalDB to version 4.4.6. Then proceed to the
4.4.6.1 upgrade instructions:

and complete your upgrade.

instructions on the CalDB Downloads page as directed here:

NOTE: A full release of CalDB 4.4.7, which will include the file in this
patch, will be available on 15 December 2011, with the release of CIAO
4.4. Users who do not wish to do the CalDB 4.4.6.1 patch above may elect
to wait until 15 December, and get the entire CIAO 4.4/CalDB 4.4.7
upgrade at that time.
