SAOTrace version 2.0.0 is now available.
SAOTrace is the CXC's high definition raytrace simulator of the Chandra
optics. It may be used in conjunction with MARX[1] or CIAO's
psf_project_ray[2] to generate event lists or images.
SAOTrace 2.0.0 adds the following exciting functionality
* simulation of dither using Chandra aspect solution files [3]
* more source types: point, disk, rect, image
* multiple sources per raytrace [4][5]
It is distributed as source and compiles and runs on several varieties
of Linux as well as Mac OSX 10.6.
