As of today the Chandra CalDB version 4.5.6 has been publicly released.
Included in this upgrade of the Chandra CalDB are the following:
o ACIS T_GAIN Epoch 52
o ACIS Blank-sky BKGRND Group F
o ACIS Substitute CTI files, Sep-Oct 2005 (NOTE: Requires CIAO 4.5 or
later version.)
(NOTE: The CalDB 4.5.6 upgrade will not affect Chandra Cycle 15 proposal
planning in any way. It contains no radiometric, effective area, or
detector response calibration updates!)
The CalDB 4.5.6 upgrade can be implemented using the ciao-install
automatic upgrade script available at
http://cxc.harvard.edu/ciao/download/
For CIAO 4.4 the CalDB upgrade may be installed manually following the
instructions at:
