# DMCOPY (CIAO): Bad data type in filter string formatting
tgdetect may generate the following warning:
# DMCOPY (CIAO): Bad data type in filter string formatting
It is due to a minor bug in the Data Model, and may be ignored. The output of tgdetect is unaffected by this bug.
The tool cannot accept a Data Model virtual syntax specification.
Tool doesn't check for .gz files (06 Mar 2007)
tgdetect will not locate a gzipped input file unless the ".gz" extension is explicitly given.
Tool does not add a history entry to the header.
The tool does not add a history entry to the output file header, which means the dmhistory tool cannot be used to recall the command.
Tool fails if software installation path is too long
ERROR: The last_exit of celldetect: 134
If the full path to celldetect, which is called by tgdetect, is more than ~100 characters, the tool will fail with an error. The tool saves the filename in case it is needed for an error message, and the buffer size is exceeded.
Workaround:
The only workaround is to move the software to a shorter path location (e.g. a higher directory).
