What if the tg_create_mask extraction regions extend beyond the detector edge?
Occasionally when you display an event list and overlay the region file created by tg_create_mask, the region will extend beyond the edge of the detector, as shown in this figure. Only events within the region are resolved by tg_resolve_events. Since the only events to be detected are on the detector, this will not affect the run of tg_resolve_events.
