Synopsis
The S-Lang programing language
Description
S-Lang is a powerful scripting language which can be used to write macros or manipulate data. Although S-Lang does not exist as a separate application, it is distributed with a program called slsh ("slang-shell") that embeds the interpreter and allows one to execute S-Lang scripts or use S-Lang at an interactive prompt. See "ahelp slsh" for more information.
The S-Lang home page has complete information on the S-Lang Library. For a list of topics related to S-Lang and its use in CIAO, type "ahelp -k slang".
S-Lang is written and maintained by John Davis of the MIT Kavli Institute.
