Radiation

SCS107 was commanded manually at 2002:107:12:56:00 UT due to high radiation.
CRM Fluence (p/cm^2-sr-Mev) for orbit was 8.1595e+09 external and 2.5678e+09 attentuated.
Lost science time: 38.3 ks (obsid 3130)

SCS107 was commanded manually again at 2002:109:14:15 UT due to accumulated CRM Fluence of 5.7675e+09 external, 3.4620e+09 attenuated.
Replan in progress.

ACIS/Radiation Environment correlations

Detrended CTI

CTI analysis is now computed with "detrending" derived from reject counters for all imaging CCDs

Average of ACIS-I CCDs (MnKa) slope 1.096e-8 CTI/day
Detrended slope 1.038e-8 CTI/day

ACIS Warm Pixels

The following pixels consistently showed a bias level more than 5 sigma away the chip's mean level during this period.
We suspect some of the recurring bad pixels may be due to biases which are taken just after perigee, when the focal plane is somewhat warm. For more information see the link above and MTA monthly reports.

For this period, 3 peaks were observed

Recent Observations

"Prob" means that there was probably bad time data included in the manual runs. This will be corrected in future processings.
