get_split_plot

Synopsis

Return plot attributes for multiple plots

get_split_plot()

Description

The get_split_plot command returns a split plot object which holds references to various plot preferences and data arrays. The attributes of the multi-plot display include:

• rows - number of rows of plots; default = 2
• cols - number of columns of plots; default = 1
• plot_prefs - dictionary of plotting preferences

Example

sherpa> sp=get_split_plot()

Return a split plot object and store it in the variable "sp".
