Synopsis
Send image of the model to ds9.
Syntax
image_model( [ id, [newframe=False, tile=False]] )
Description
Sends an image of the model associated with a 2-D data set to the imager - by default, ds9. If no data set ID is given, by default the model associated with the first data set ID loaded in the Sherpa session is sent to ds9.
- id - the id of the data set to use; if not given, uses the default dataset id (id=1 by default, see "ahelp get_default_id")
- newframe - add a new frame; default=False
- tile - tile image frame; default=False
Example
sherpa> image_model() sherpa> image_model(1) sherpa> image_model(1, newframe=True, tile=False)
The image_model function can be called with no arguments, in which case an image of the model associated with the default data set is sent to the ds9. By default, the image is sent to the same frame and the frames are not tiled.
