Synopsis
Image the 2-D unconvolved model
Syntax
image_source( [ id, [newframe=False, tile=False]] )
Description
The image_source() command sends an image of the 2-D unconvolved model associated with a 2-D data set to ds9.
- id - the id of the data set to use; if not given, uses the default dataset id (id=1 by default, see "ahelp get_default_id")
- newframe - add a new ds9 frame for the model image; default=False (overwrite the contents of the current frame)
- tile - tile the ds9 frames so that all existing frames are visible; if False (the default), only the newly-created frame will be visible
Example 1
sherpa> image_source()
Image the model associated with the default dataset.
Example 2
sherpa> image_source(3) sherpa> image_source(2, newframe=True, tile=True)
Image the model for dataset id=3. Then image the model for dataset id=2 in a new frame and tile the frames.
