Synopsis
Load multiple ARFs
Syntax
load_multi_arfs( [id], filenames, resp_ids)
Description
The load_multi_arfs command loads multiples ARFs (effective areas) from FITS files and assigns them response ids. More than one ARF may be associated with a single dataset.
- id - the id of the dataset to use; if not given, uses the default dataset id (id=1 by default, see "ahelp get_default_id")
- filename - a list of the files (with path) which contain the ARF data
- resp_id - a list containing a response id for each file loaded
Example
sherpa> load_multi_arfs(["source1.arf", "source2.arf"], [1,2])
The ARF files source1.arf and source2.arf are loaded as responses 1 and 2 for the default dataset.
