SynopsisSend image of the residuals (i.e., data - model) to the imager. Syntaximage_resid(; [ id=1, [newframe=False, tile=False]] ); DescriptionSends an image of the residuals to the imager--by default, DS9. The data set is a 2-D data set. The residuals are of the model subtracted from the data. If no data set ID is given, by default the residuals associated with the first data set ID is sent to the imager. Examplesherpa> image_resid; sherpa> image_resid(1, newframe=True, tile=False); The image_resid function can be called with no arguments, in which case an image of the residuals associated with the first data set is sent to the imager. By default, the image is sent to the same frame (newframe=False) and the frames are not tiled (tile=False). These options can be overridden by setting these keywords to True.
