| Remarks: | Jupiter moves about 3.5' during the 40 ks observation, requiring 3-4 nudges to keep the target within 1' of the chip center. The time window is set to coincide with the inbound leg of I25 orbit of the Galileo probe in the Jupiter system, devoted to study of the Io plasma torus. The RA and Dec values are not precise and should be used only for long-term scheduling. Note that this 40ks observation MUST BE CONTINUOUS without interruption by Earth passage. Window may have to be adjusted after orbit is determined. |
